Students and mentors kick off the 2024 FIRST Robotics Competition season, Crescendo!

About The Mechanisms

The Mechanisms is a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team on a mission to educate and inspire students in STEM fields. We do more than build robots, we actively build a team of future leaders and innovators who want to make a difference. Our students learn valuable life skills including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

Established with the help of experienced mentors, The Mechanisms is a student-led organization comprised of eighth through twelfth-grade students. We are the technology workforce of the future. Our mentors are leaders in engineering, business, and computing who volunteer over one thousand hours annually to provide guidance, educate, and inspire our students. Together we strive to design, build, and program the best robots in the world, year after year.

His passion and determination to help young people discover the excitement and rewards of science and technology are the cornerstones of FIRST.
